LATEST NEWSLETTER: SEPTEMBER 2025

“Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.” (Romans 1:25)
We are grateful for His protection and peace. Summer is closing with the fall season around the bend. We enjoy the warm days and cooler evenings. Thanks for your prayers and support as we are in a spiritual battle (Ephesians 6). We have to remember this to keep things in perspective through various trials.
The personal conversations that we have are very important. We are able to witness to many, from athletes starting out to those that have already won many medals. The need is the same in all situations. Without Christ, we are lost forever.
We have interviews below. Not included is the news release thanking World Athletics (track and field) for testing women athletes for the Y chromosome. Women cannot have the Y chromosome. By using a simple cheek swab, they will test all women before the World Track and Field Championships in Japan this September. Men cannot compete as women now.
We love you all in Christ. Thanks for making our ministry work through your prayers and support. Steve and Liz McConkey

INTERVIEW ON 180 RADIO STATIONS IN 30 STATES, THEN WORLDWIDE (AMERICAN FAMILY RADIO). In southern California, the Kern County Board of Education passed a resolution that comes into compliance with President Trump’s Title IX rules. It will ban transgender athletes from girls’ sports. The board oversees 400 students in the county-run alternative education programs, but has no control over Kern’s other 46 districts. The Trump administration has been pressuring California to come into compliance with his Title IX changes, reversing Biden’s radical policies.
According to Steve McConkey, the changes are going in the right direction. Most states have banned transgender athletes, the International Olympic Committee will ban them, women are finally standing up, and there are lawsuits trying to right past wrongs. Parents need to speak up for their children and not be afraid of the consequences. There is strength in numbers.

INTERVIEW ON 180 RADIO STATIONS IN 30 STATES, THEN WORLDWIDE (AMERICAN FAMILY RADIO). Caroline Hill competes in track and field for the Division III Rochester Institute of Technology. She broke the program record in the 200m and the 300m. Eventually, both records were broken by transgender teammate Sadie Schreiner.
Caroline shared the locker room with the transgender and felt uncomfortable for two years. After the NCAA changed its transgender policy on February 6, Schreiner was ruled ineligible to compete. However, the transgender continued to use the women’s locker room and train with the team for another month.
Hill is now speaking out about the bad experience. Hill joined Riley Gaines’ lawsuit against the NCAA in early 2024. She was an anonymous plaintiff, but now has publicly revealed what she endured.
Steve McConkey believes that athletes are finally speaking out about their bad experiences. Obviously, the Bible is against the transgender movement. In 2003, he was the only person fighting against the International Olympic Committee for allowing transgenders. This year, President Trump signed an executive order stopping transgender athletes. Women at the grassroots level are finally expressing themselves and Steve hopes this continues.
