STEVE McCONKEY WORLDWIDE RADIO INTERVIEW: Does inclusive policy include Idaho?

ONE NEWS NOW:

The head of a Christian athletics organization says conservatives need to take immediate action as LGBTQ activists pressure the NCAA to keep their sporting events, including the 2021 Men’s Division I Basketball Championship games, out of Idaho.

In April, Idaho became the first state in the nation to pass legislation protecting female athletes from unfair competition with transgender male athletes, almost immediately prompting a lawsuit from civil rights groups.

“The NCAA says their policy is that they’ve got to include transgenders or they cannot hold a NCAA event,” reports Steve McConkey, president of 4 WINDS USA Christian Athletics. “Most likely, the NCAA will have to remove the championship games.”

Meanwhile, as Arizona may be on the verge of passing similar legislation, McConkey believes Christians and conservatives need to take immediate action.

“There are things that are coming that are not good if they don’t put a stop to this right away,” he warns. “Arizona is doing the right thing, and Idaho definitely did the right thing by passing the law.”

Breitbart reports that the NCAA has previously stripped states of championship games to push back against legislation like that passed in Idaho. READ MORE AT ONE NEWS NOW
